About Us
Introduction
Priority One First Aid & CPR is a first aid and CPR training company based in Belle River, Ontario. The company is owned and operated by Laura and Chris Turner — a husband-and-wife team from Belle River with a genuine personal and professional commitment to making their community safer.
Mission
Priority One exists to make Essex County communities safer by bringing trusted, accessible first aid and CPR training to the people and businesses of Belle River, Lakeshore, and eastern Essex County. We are a local, community-based business committed to long-term presence, quality instruction, and genuine care for the communities we serve.
Vision
Priority One will be the first aid training provider that Belle River and Lakeshore have never had — a reliable, community-rooted operation that brings courses to workplaces and community venues rather than requiring people to drive to Windsor. Through consistent, high-quality delivery and strong relationships with local employers and community organizations, we aim to become the trusted training partner for Essex County's eastern communities.
Meet Our Instructors

Laura Turner
Lead Instructor
Active first aid and CPR instructor with years of hands-on experience delivering WSIB-approved first aid and CPR training in Windsor, Ontario. A Registered Nurse since 2011, Laura's background spans community nursing with a focus on palliative care and hospital nursing — giving her a depth of real-world clinical experience that sets her apart in the classroom. Laura began teaching first aid and CPR in 2024 and has delivered Standard First Aid, Emergency First Aid, and BLS courses to many different companies across the region. She is responsible for all course delivery at Priority One and brings direct knowledge of what Essex County employers and community members need from first aid training.
What Makes Us Different
We are a genuinely local, community-based business in Belle River — not a Windsor company occasionally serving the area. Our mobile delivery model brings training to your workplace or community venue rather than requiring travel. We commit to running every scheduled course regardless of enrollment, addressing a known frustration among Essex County employers who have experienced last-minute cancellations from larger providers.
